A few days ago, I had this bright idea that I'd like to make bags for kids to use for this week's big "Egg Hunt". Then, the vision expanded! The inspiration came from the hunt but, I figure; they could use the bags anytime. On top of that, I thought, why not make some for some very special young folks. My brain went into over-drive and it clicked! I volunteered at Kennedy Krieger Institute some years ago and had a blast doing crafts for the kids. Why not visit them again and bring along a very special gift.
I handmade and hand-painted these bags and will personalize each bag for 30+ kids this Sunday when I visit the institute. It is my wish to fill them with uplifting gifts and, I could use help from the masses to make it extra special!
This is just the beginning. With your help, MRM will continue to support the Kennedy Krieger Institute and other organizations via philanthropy & the creative arts. Also, I am a supporter of the MS Walk Charlotte May 2, 2015 for my sister's team: The Cure Seekers and will donate a percentage of the donations to their ongoing research for a cure & treatment for Multiple Sclerosis.
Please join The MRMovement by donating monetarily whatever you deem fit. Your donation will be amazingly helpful to get the supplies needed to make and fill the bags. As an added bonus, your name will be added to The MRMovement: Wall of Do-Gooders as a thank you for making the lives of others more special. It is our hope and plan to continue on this journey and have a place for creatives, philanthropists, socialites and all do-gooders to Do More. Be More. Give More. & Love More.
Please tell a friend to tell a friend to tell their friends to join the movement. Leave an encouraging message on The MRMovement: Wall of Do-Gooders page and make someone's day! Oh, if you'd like a bag of your own or for an awesome little one, MESSAGE ME and, I'll whip one up for ya! Have a wonderful day, week and life! Thank you in advance for your time & support!
