Soooooo, my mom's birthday is this Saturday and, I am planning a special lunch for her and a few close friends on Sunday! I am most looking forward to the presentation of it all. I love entertaining, decorating and having folks feel comfortable & at home. But, they have to eat too, right?!?
My plan is to have several plates including a few pepper dishes. Recently, I have been cooking with tri-color bell peppers and they have been sooooo good! Did I say soooooo...again?!? hehehe...
The Stuffed Peppers with rice, black beans & ground turkey was my first attempt for this particular dish and, it was scrumptious! I think I hear one of those chef shows calling. Maybe not yet, but soon. I at least have the presentation part down.
The Peppers w/Smoked Sausage I made today. I'm bonkers about using my wok and would cook every meal in it if I possible. What could have been an ordinary dish became a masterpiece by serving it in a martini glass. Pretty awesome...don't ya think?!?
10 Minute Meal:
The Peppers w/Chicken & Broccoli is a simple, quick and tasty meal. SteamReady Broccoli Florets from Giant were placed in the microwave for quick prep and seasoned after. Tyson's Grilled & Ready Fully Cooked Chicken Breast Strips only needed a few minutes in the microwave. I used some peppers from a dish fixed the night before.
