Will Ferrell SLAYED on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon after the Super Bowl last night! I mean he KILLED the Lip Sync Battle! Sometime after the game, eating tons of great food, laughing, dancing and enjoying one too many cockails, I fell asleep in the home theater of one of my fav couples, The Clays. Hi, Caits! ;-) Anywho, we woke up in just enough time to see the antics of Will, Kevin Hart and Jimmy Fallon. I knew nothing about these battles. SMH... I had NO idea what I was missing. That was the best series of laughs that I have had in a long time. Thanks for the foolishness, guys! The only time FOOLISHNESS is allowed! #Smooches

MY EXPERIENCE: CHENIRE DIONNE
The music industry's hottest female celebs shined on the red carpet for the 57th Grammy Awards. Black, White, Glitz and Color were all in the building at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. LL Cool J did his thing as the host for the fourth consecutive time although we saw more performances this year than anything else - 23 to be exact. Gwen Stefani was my fav red carpet femme fatale. She was perfectly chic in a custom Atelier Versace Jumpsuit. As she stated, "...it's artwork." Annie Lennox brought down the house with her Hozier collaboration. Pharrell made us "Happy" all over again with his updated/orchestrated version of the hit song. Usher paid homage to Stevie Wonder with his rendition of "If It's Magic" and Beyonce', Common & John Legend made us all say AMEN with the evening's closing performances. The biggest winner of the night was Sam Smith. He took home 4 Grammys including Record of the Year! #TheBestNightEVER

It's taking me a little while to get everything exactly like I want it in my new space and, one such space is my desk. I was totally uninspired by the quick placement and needed to amp things up. Everything that you see here was already in my possession. I picked a color scheme - black, white & gold and, just moved things around. Believe it or not, it took a significant amount of time to get the placement of each piece just right. My intention is for the space to feel warm, inviting, inspiring and to be uber chic! DIY TIP: As you place your pieces on the desk, step back and look at it. See how it makes you feel. Think in terms of balance, tones, height variations and those little things that make the space special. Always feel free to ASK MONI (that's me) for details on how to personalize any space in your home.

Yetunde Sarumi has been one of my clients for many years. She is the sweetest, most humble person whom you'll ever meet. She makes beautiful clothing and has the skill to back it up. I asked, along with tons of other folks, when she would begin to sell her pieces. It took a collaboration with Africa's Daughters Foundation to make her start her online boutique YetundeSarumi.com Check out her My Experience Project Promo and stay tuned for more!
So by now, you folks know that I am a little OCD. Ok, a lot OCD! As I placed items in my new space, I noticed that some of the doors aren't quite level. They do absolutely whatever they want to do. Argh... When I walk by, they just move slowly toward me. Thank goodness I'm not superstitious or get freaked out by that kind of thing. I guess they just want to be close to me. hehehe... Anywho, I was able to solve two problems at once. The doors stay open and my books have a new home. Voila!
Tip: If you have plenty of books to play with, stack them to create a different look.

MISS ASIA PACIFIC WORLD USA
I had the privilege of being invited to Greater Baltimore Urban League's Business Summit this past Thursday. It was FREEZING but, 100's of folks made their way to the Hyatt Regency Baltimore to absorb all of the amazing information offered by the Keynote Speaker: Dia Simms, President of Combs Wine & Spirits as well as a host of other inspirational business men and women who shared their expertise and resources. After Mrs. Simms spoke, the floor was opened to questions. Of course, I had to ask this powerhouse of a woman what was her earliest memory of knowing that she was a leader or, at the very least, possessed the qualities. In short, she playfully mentioned that she knew that she was bossy which sparked laughs from the curious crowd. She expressed that she knew that she could solve problems more so than she recognized herself as being a "leader". As a young woman, her experience as a corporate exec, entrepreneur, philanthropist and public speaker is extensive & impressive. The future continues to burn bright for The Blue Flame Agency's EVP. Thanks to The Finn Group for the invite! The program was extremely enlightening.

A black leather pencil skirt, whether faux or the real deal, is a great staple to have in your closet. It's uber chic, timeless and can be worn however you'd like. If you are a little on the conservative side, add a blazer, clutch and leather pumps to complete your look like Miss Chic. Miss Cool likes to be comfortable as well as stylish. Her look is effortless and a tad edgy. Turning heads and making waves is the intention of Miss Charisma. She's a risk-taker and loves shaking things up. Which Miss C. are you?
